Overhead Cranes Our facility has 8 overhead cranes that run throughout the entire shop to help with fabrication and moving of materials. The cranes ensure that materials safely get from the welders to the paint booth. Within the paint booth they help with loading and prepping for paint. We are able to make sure things run efficiently and on schedule with 6 five tons cranes, 1 ten ton crane, and 1 seven-and-half ton crane.
120 Ironworker This is a Geka Hydracrop–100–S ironworker. It’s equipped with two hydraulic cylinders which allows for multiple work stations. It offers great speed for punching, notching, shearing and cutting round or square bars. It is also capable of punching and shearing base plates.
Shot Blast Machine Our Pangborn post fabrication shot machine is supported by four 25 H.P. motors with a wheel design pattern for the steel shot. The blast cabinet is designed to allow fabricated materials to pass through easily. It has 60’ of inward and outward conveyors with a pass through cabinet of 24” width and 46” height. The steel shot screw conveyor and bucket elevator allow for automatic reusable shot. The dust collector maintains a clean cabinet and environment allowing more material to be handled efficiently.
Coper This is a Peddinghaus ABCM–1250 CNC thermal cutting / coping machine. It has a triple torch oxy-fuel technology that allows two flanges to be cut at the same time. The narrowness of the torch gives way for tighter cutting against flanges. It can be used to split T’s with no problem. It also features top-of-the-line CNC control panel from Siemens.
Anglemaster This is a Peddinghaus Model AFPS–623 angle line. This machine can punch, mark, and shear a piece to its finished length in one pass in less than a minute! It leaves you with completely clear markings to designate each part that it processes. It processes up to 6 x 6 x 5/8 angles and flatbars.
Drill Line This is a Peddinghaus Model PCD-1100/3B Advantage machine. Due to this machines modular design, it is placed in tandem with our saw. It is an ideal drilling machine for our field of work. There are three different spindles to help with its rapid approach and material breakthrough. It then has a rapid retraction which enables the machine to advance to the next hole in the programed pattern. Other important features of this allow for layout and scribing capabilities.
Band Saw This is a twin column heavy duty Peddinghaus Model DG–1250 structural saw. It provides a variety of handling options for your material. Pieces are measured via the machine’s drilling system allowing total flexibility in the layout. It is the ideal straight cut for numerous parts and projects. Its cutting range is 49” width x 20” height and it has front and back conveyor loading systems.
Plate Processor This is a three punch / plasma Peddinghaus Model FPB–1800 processer. This plate processor uses a roller handling technology that helps to eliminate scrap by saving raw material. Plates can be loaded one after another with no stop in production, it has 3 punch stations which reduces the need for tool changes, the clamping system securely clenches the components via drive and idler rollers, and the carbide scribing has an adjustable marking depth which makes it easy to see after the process is complete. This machine burns plates to shapes and punches holes all in one process according to our specs.
